A Winchester man was arrested on multiple charges stemming from having a loaded AR-15 rifle and making threats last week. Brian Chandler, age 50 of Winchester was charged with having a weapon under a disability and inducing panic.
According to reporting of Fox19 in Cincinnati, Chandler had the loaded rifle with him in the garage of a home on Lark Street in Winchester when multiple agencies responded to a 911 call. The caller reported that Chandler was suicidal with a firearm while intoxicated.
Authorities said that the incident lasted less than 30 minutes. Chandler eventually surrendered and walked out of the home without the rifle. This is the second run-in with police that Chandler has had over the last several months. In December, he was arrested in a similar situation.
