A fire destroyed a Blue Creek home in the early morning hours of Tuesday, April 14th.  According to authorities, multiple fire departments from the area were called in to assist and State Route 125 was shut down by the Ohio Department of Transportation for a period of time so that first responders could work to battle the blaze.

The 3,000 square foot home is located at 20563 State Route 125 and is owned by Randy and Tina Day and appears to be a total loss.  Everyone was able to make it out of the house without injuries.

Fire crews were dispatched to the scene several times to deal with flare-ups.   The American Red Cross is assisting the family along with a host of family and friends.

“My husband,  Randall Day and myself want to thank you all for the prayers and well wishes. We made it out with nothing but we have each other and that’s enough,” said Tina Day on the Informer’s Facebook social media page following the fire.  Post shown below.
