Adams County Fair Line-Up Announced

Fair to feature rides and games


The 129th Adams County Fair will be held July 15th-18th.

Like many other events with mass gatherings, the Adams County Agricultural Society has made modifications to align with social gathering recommendations set forth by the Ohio Department of Health, the Adams County Health Department, and the Center for Disease Control.

The fair that usually consists of seven days, will be shortened to four days. In those four days, fairgoers can expect a 4H/FFA Junior Fair, a Fair King and Queen contest, food vendors, amusement rides and gaming, an outhouse race, Adams County has Talent, a performance by Rebel Sound Club, a Hip Hop show case, the Cincinnati Circus and much more.

The Adams County Fairboard told the Informer, rides and games will be open from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. then 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Thursday through Saturday, rides will be open an extended to 11:00 p.m. Junior Fair participants will ride free on July 16th with their fair pass.

Wednesday, July 15th, the Fair will commence with an opening ceremony recognizing, the 2020 Adams County Fair Outstanding Supporter Roy Gabbert. During the 6th Annual Grandstand Bonanza, Adams County Agricultural Society said, “[Judge Gabbert] is seen every day at the fair supporting our youth, purchasing at both the Junior and Senior Sales, buying fair ads and banners, and walking the entire fair parade route and into the center ring.”

Highlights for July 16th include a Stunt Show by the Cincinnati Circus.

Friday, July 17th will feature Adams County has Talent starting at 7 pm. and a performance from Rebel Sound Club. A Hip Hop showcase featuring McFur and Special Guests will take place on Saturday, July 18th.
