The family of 15-year-old Randi Preston, who went missing from her home on August 2, 2024, continues to hold out hope for her safe return as the holidays approach.
Randi was last seen the night of August 2 at her grandmother’s home in West Union. Terri Milby, Randi’s grandmother, recalls wishing her granddaughter a goodnight. By morning, the teen was gone without a trace.
“It’s been over four months, and we are just heartbroken,” said Milby. “Randi, I have been missing you since the second you left. I think about you every day and just want you to come home safe. Please let me know that you are okay. I love you.”
Family members describe Randi’s disappearance as highly unusual. She left behind her belongings and has had no contact with loved ones since. Authorities and her family are deeply concerned for her safety.
Investigators with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) believe Randi may still be in Ohio or could have traveled to Texas. They urge anyone with information to come forward to aid in the search.
Adams County Sheriff’s Office and NCMEC are leading the search efforts. Authorities have emphasized the critical role of public assistance in missing person cases.
