Adams County Republicans Open HQ

 The Adams County Republican Central & Executive Committee, along with the Adams County Republican Club, officially opened their election headquarters with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, signaling the start of the 2024 campaign efforts. 

Although the office had been distributing signs and election materials for several weeks, the grand opening underscored the party’s commitment to engaging with voters.Party leaders noted that more than 1,000 people have already visited the headquarters to pick up signs supporting former President Donald Trump and Senator J.D. Vance. Yard signs for Aaron Haslam, who is running for County Prosecutor, have also been in high demand, along with “Vote No on Issue 1” signs and Bernie Moreno for U.S. Senate signs.

“In 2020, Donald Trump received over 80% of the vote in this county – and we’re confident that it can happen again,” the party said in a prepared release. “We know the Democratic Party is really unable to win elections here, but we’re grateful that they try. Competition is good – and voters respond to our message.” The release continued, “voters are ready to re-hire Trump, fire Sherrod Brown, Keep Aaron Haslam and vote NO on Issue 1!” 

Adams County, which has become a Republican stronghold over the past decade, currently holds every non-judicial office in the Courthouse. However, party leaders chose not to recruit a candidate for County Court this year, allowing incumbent Judge Roy Gabbert to run unopposed.

“Judge Roy Gabbert doesn’t let politics enter his courtroom. He is a genuinely nice person and a good public servant,” said the party. “We had no desire to challenge Judge Gabbert, and we wish him well in his next term.”

The newly opened headquarters will continue to serve as a hub for distributing materials and supporting Republican candidates throughout the election season.
