The Adams County Clothesline of Quilts is seeing new life with the addition of two quilt squares installed last week. A new Le Moyne Star quilt now hangs on Cabin Creek Road, replacing the design that once decorated a barn on U.S. 52 before the structure was taken down last year. In Blue Creek, along State Route 125, a freshly painted Broken Dishes quilt square has been placed beside the older version of the same pattern.

The restorations, part of a project by the Adams County Arts Council to revive the original Quilt Trail, mark the beginning of the quilt trail’s rebirth and help preserve a piece of local heritage for residents and visitors alike.
