The 2025 Adams County Fair is just around the corner, and excitement is building for a full week of tradition, entertainment, and hometown pride. From Sunday, July 6 through Saturday, July 12, the fairgrounds in West Union will be packed with livestock shows, live entertainment, contests, and community fun.
Festivities begin Sunday morning with a community church service at 9 a.m. in the Center Ring, setting a thoughtful tone for the week. The Opening Ceremony follows at 1 p.m., and the afternoon includes early favorites like the Micro Mini Tractor Pull, the Cheer Competition, and the Adams County Born & Raised Beef Show. Sunday night brings engines and energy with the Demolition Derby, a crowd-pleaser every year.
As the week rolls on, fairgoers can expect a mix of tradition and thrills. Monday features pageants for all ages and a lively rodeo in the dirt arena, while Tuesday offers action-packed events like Moto Cross racing and a Lumberjack Show of Champions, capped off with live music from Cole Bradford.
Midweek brings a blend of fun and community engagement. On Wednesday, early risers can join a Walk With a Doc, and families can look forward to the Pee-Wee Swine Showmanship, the Mocktail Event, and the Baked Goods Auction. That night, classic rock fans won’t want to miss WANTED: A Bon Jovi Tribute Band at 8 p.m. in the Center Ring.

Thursday features the Open Beef Show and Pee-Wee Goat Showmanship, followed by the Sullivan Truck Pulls and a special Jason Cooper Memorial Concert. On Friday, agriculture takes the spotlight with the Tractor Show in Shade Tree Park and the Open Dairy Show, while the barns stay busy with final showmanship classes and breed awards.
Livestock shows will continue throughout the week, with dozens of local youth competing in swine, beef, goat, poultry, rabbit, and dairy classes—showcasing their hard work and dedication through 4-H and FFA programs. The fair wraps up Saturday with the Junior Fair Livestock Sale, a beloved finale that highlights months of effort by young exhibitors and the generosity of community supporters.
