The West Union High School gym was packed on Sunday as the annual contest of the Venture Hawks vs. Sheriff’s Department Eagles took place. The Eagles once again came up short this year, being defeated by the Hawks 60-54, with a clock-defying three-pointer in the last moment of the game delivered by Darell.

This year, the Venture Hawks were coached by former Sheriff Kim Rogers. “Thanks to everyone that comes out to support individuals with ABILITIES,” the Adams County Board of Developmental Disabilities posted on their Facebook page, thanking everyone for their support following the game. The annual game brings together the community to highlight the important work of Venture Productions and coincides with Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month. All funds raised go to support Venture programming.
