Throughout his life, Robert Smith has been a pillar of the community, contributing to various projects and causes. Notably, he was a major funder and founder of the Humane Society of Adams County animal shelter in 2015. Additionally, he continues the legacy of the CE Smith Family through an endowment in the Adams County Community Foundation, which awards scholarships each year.
