The Adams County Chamber of Commerce recently hosted its highly anticipated Annual Meeting at the Adams County Training and Business Center, marking a moment of celebration and optimism. The event showcased the chamber’s notable achievements and set the stage for future initiatives.
The morning began with Jason Francis, Chair of the Chamber, taking the stage to highlight the chamber’s remarkable accomplishments over the past year. A standout achievement was the chamber’s substantial 40% increase in membership, reaching an impressive count of 167 members.
During his address, Francis shared the chamber’s active participation in nearly 15 ribbon-cutting ceremonies, illustrating the growth and development of the local community. He expressed gratitude for the significant support from First State Bank, which recently invested in assisting the board of trustees with training conducted by industry leader Frank Kenny. Notably, Kenny had previously contributed to the success of the Board of Trustees in Brown County, and the positive impact is evident in their thriving chamber.
Emphasizing the importance of unified support from Chamber members, local businesses, and the community, Francis stated, “Supporting local businesses is not just about commerce; it’s about building a strong and vibrant community. By supporting your local chamber, you are investing in the future of Adams County.”

Adding to the morning’s highlights, Director of Adams County Economic Development, Paul Worley, delivered an insightful report on the positive developments occurring in Adams County. The inauguration of the Adams County Training and Business Center, already operational, was a significant milestone contributing to the county’s growth. Worley’s presentation illuminated the strategic plans and visions that will shape the county’s trajectory in the coming years.
