The Adams County Retired Teachers Association announced last week that they will be holding their annual Christmas Open House on Sunday, December 10th, from 2 until 4 p.m. The school is located on the corner of Vaughn Ridge and Page School Roads.
According to organizers of the event, activities will include a historical look at the school itself, old-fashioned games, Christmas crafts, story reading, and telling, treats for birds, ornaments, and Christmas songs. A self-guided, short nature trail is also available. These activities will reminisce an earlier, much simpler way of celebrating Christmastime.
