An Adams County grand jury handed down a five count indictment against former Manchester Police Officer Joushua Hayes.
In February, former Police Chief Jeff Bowling said Hayes was unfit to serve.
Joshua Hayes is accused of illegally using LEADS, which is ran through the Ohio Law Enforcement Automated Data System.
Sources say Hayes used LEADS to search friends and girlfriend(s).
The Ohio Law Enforcement Automated Data System is confidential and managed by Highway Patrol Superintendent’s office.
A hearing is scheduled for April 12 at 9:30 AM in the Adams County Court of Common Pleas.
Haynes indictment includes unauthorized use of property – computer, cable, or telecommunication property.
